"A homage to my foundation, and the environments I was exposed to while growing up. When I was a child, my mother would participate in local craft shows and put her creative muscle to work as she made floral arrangements and DIY trinkets. Her love for beauty and attention to detail helped me broaden my perspective. These moments, and her discipline, are a driving inspiration to create work that aims to evoke emotion. This experience and the footwear associated with it is a physical representation of that inspiration."
